About Nicola Broomham

With over 20 years in the property sector, I’ve built a career on more than just estate agency and recruitment—I’ve built it on connection, growth, and transformation.

I’ve run my own successful recruitment agency, led at senior level within a large property recruitment firm, and have first hand experience have navigated the challenges of scaling, selling, and leading through change.

In 2025, I stepped away from recruitment to reflect on how I could best support the industry I care so deeply about.

During that time, I was approached again and again for guidance—from leaders scaling their businesses to individuals managing overwhelming demands or career crossroads. That’s when I realised: people don’t just need great hires.
They need great support.

That’s why I founded Nota Bene—a coaching and mentoring business for property professionals who want to lead, grow, and thrive.

Why Both Coaching and Mentoring?

Coaching gets you thinking. Mentoring gives you the map.

Coaching helps you find clarity, unlock confidence, and remove obstacles in your way. Mentoring adds practical insight, direction, and the benefit of someone who’s been there.

I don’t separate the two. I combine them—so you get powerful self-development and strategic advice rooted in real industry experience.

I’m a mental health first aider, former Chair of Women in Residential Property, and a mentor through Agents Together. I’ve won both Gold and Bronze at the EA Masters Supplier Awards, successfully grown and sold my own recruitment business, and regularly speak at events including Propertymark conferences, the Women in Estate Agency Conference, and on industry podcasts and panels.

I’m based in Surrey, working with clients across the UK—both face-to-face and via Teams. At home, I’m married with three children (including two teenagers who keep me humble!) and two dogs—Bella and Otto.

My Ikigai

Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means “a reason for being.”
Mine is helping people—especially in the property and recruitment sectors—discover their strengths, grow into confident, purpose-driven leaders, and build better businesses and lives.
